For a limited time, 100% of the money collected is yours to keep. Since group gatherings are discouraged in most places due to COVID, Facebook is waiving all fees till June 30, 2021. That's right, host your online events without any fees.  This is a great way to replace lost revenue from cancelled in-person events and reach new audiences online.

Getting Paid for Facebook Live Events

Before launching your Paid Online Event, it's important to understand Facebook's payment policy.
  • You will receive your payouts once a month after you exceed the minimum payout of $100
  • If your earnings are below $100 at the end of a month, it will be carried over to the next month until it passes the $100
  • Facebook calculates payments at the end of each calendar month
  • Expect to receive your payment paid about 30 days later (typically first week of the following month)
  • Your payment will be deposited in the bank account you provided when you set up payments for your Page
  • Until 6/30/2021, any purchases made on paid online events will be made through Facebook Pay, where you’ll receive 100% of the price that guests pay, after applicable taxes.
